Farul Constanta are one step away from the UEFA Conference League play-offs, but Constanta’s players could be without their top scorer from last season. Denis Alibek has an offer from Qatar and has already left for contract negotiations.

Denys Alibek was Mayak’s top scorer last season (14 goals), and the Romanian player is wanted outside the country by several teams in Qatar.

The top was also decisive in the first leg of the double with Flora Tallinn (3-0), in the third round of the UEFA Conference League, when he scored 1-0.

According to as.ro, Alibek is being scouted by Al Muayter, a team that was recently promoted to Qatar’s first division, and he has already left for his contract talks.

The source notes that Denys Alibek will receive an annual salary of 800,000 euros.

At the interview right at the airport, Alibek said that he was not sure that the move would take place.

“Nothing has been determined yet. I am going there to see what I will do, to see the conditions and I will make a decision.

Three days ago (did not receive an offer). It is very difficult for me to part with Farul, my other half, but sometimes I have to make such decisions.

When you quit football, no one asks where you played. Gike Hagi greeted me and told me to be good.

I told you, it’s still dangerous. I’ll go see what’s there. I have made this decision and I hope it will be a good one.

I went to practice yesterday and wished them luck, but said it wasn’t ready yet and I’d see you in three days. Buddy greeted me.

I’m definitely more mature, that’s up to me. I realized that it is freer (not in Doha, but in Qatar), not like in Arabia.

Farul has the power to bring in players from the Academy and make them very, very good. I say we are 100% in the playoffs. I think Farul will fight for the title.

Of course, I’m thinking about the national team, we’ll see what happens. I haven’t talked to the selector because nothing is certain, and we’ll see what happens.” – said Denys Alibets.

If Alibek agrees with the team from Qatar, Farul will get nothing in return.

In the Romanian player’s contract with Farul, there is a special clause according to which the footballer can leave for free in case of an offer from abroad.
