Our top champions such as Anastasia Marinakou, Katerina Kutli, Maria Kassou, Christoforos Merousis, Giorgos Tassis and others will take part in both events. On Saturday, at the historical start of the marathon, a torch relay will take place, in which athletes and athletes who have written and are writing their history in classical sports will take part.

However, the event that attracts attention is the marathon. Marathons can be held in most countries of the world, but the true route is the route from the marathon to the Kallimarmaro stadium. 15,500 runners registered to participate in the marathon. On the Greek side, Kostas Gelauzos, Panagiotis Karaiskos and Katerina Asimakopulu stand out. Four-time Greek champion Kostas Gelauzos improved his personal record in Berlin a few days ago, but despite being tired, he said he wants to keep the title he won last year. Authentic marathon attracts the attention of world sports.

The Marathon Road race will start at 09:00. All finishing work will be completed by 17.30. Participants are expected to include Abel Anton and Martin Fitch, who starred in the tournament during the 1997 World Cup.
