Pedro Martins will not be the new Hull manager. The former Olympiacos coach was in England and even watched the match against Wigan.
Although both sides appeared to be close to an agreement, Hull issued a statement announcing that the talks had stalled. The club placed their trust in Andy Dawson, who took over as interim manager after the departure of Sota Arveladze.
“After a long discussion with Pedro Martins, we could not reach an agreement, so we decided to stop negotiations. Pedro is a great manager but we don’t feel we could meet his demands so we thank him for his interest in Hull and wish him all the best for the future.”
We remind you that Pedros Martins was sacked by Olympiacos after losing at home to Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League qualifiers. The Portuguese coach managed the Piraeus team for four years.
He led Piraeus to win three championships and one Cup.
