On Sunday, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, together with other high-ranking officials, took part in the forum in Kyiv “Ukraine. 2024”, in the context of marking two years since the beginning of the Russian military invasion of his country.

During the more than two-hour press conference, the journalist asked Zelensky if he would answer the Kremlin leader’s phone call in the middle of the night.

“He doesn’t have a mobile phone. How can he call me? And I haven’t used the telegraph since 1917,” Zelensky answered with a smile.

Then he added in a serious tone: “He (Putin) won’t call me, he doesn’t want to end this war, that’s clear today.”
