FCSB – FC Botoşani 3-2, in Super Lig – Three-elimination game

The leader of the Super League had a much more difficult match than expected against the “red lanterns” FC Botosani.

Florinel Coman opened the scoring after just six minutes, after a wonderful cut in which he beat Dimitrov’s defender.

In the 18th minute, the second-placed player dominated, with Nana Antwi red carded for a foul at the last defender’s position.

The score did not change before the break, although Koman and Octavian Popescu hit the bar twice for the Bucharest team.

Right at the start of the second half, Francesco Margiotta restored the tie with a shot from close range after Tirnovan was denied.

In the 56th minute, parity was restored, with Kaprof also receiving a second yellow card for a foul from behind on Coman.

FCSB pressed and Joskim Dava made it 2-1 in the 71st minute after Beluce’s cross.

Five minutes later, Florinel Coman scored a double at the end of a counterattack led by Octavian Popescu.

In the 86th minute, the scheme coached by Elias Charalambous lost again, with captain Darius Olaru receiving a red after a rough tackle.

He scored again in added time when Reagi Ofosu reduced the deficit with a deflected inside free kick.
