The court arrested the founder and co-owner of the Ukrainian company “Kyivgum” Anton Kravets in the case of the alleged supply of tactical medical equipment to Russia, Ukrfor reported on Friday with reference to confidential sources in law enforcement agencies.
On January 4, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted searches in the office of a Kyiv manufacturer of rubber products, as well as in the residences of the company’s owners, the Kyiv Independent reports.
In its Telegram channel, the SBU reported that it had exposed “one of Ukraine’s largest producers of rubber and plastic” in the “Kyiv region” for the supply of tactical harnesses and bandages to Russia.
From 2022 to 2023, the company delivered products worth more than UAH 40 million ($1.05 million), the SBU reported. The goods were allegedly transported by an “illegal route” that passes through European countries to Russia. (photo: Dreamstime)
