The Special Operations Forces (SSO) in cooperation with the missile units of the Armed Forces destroyed the Russian anti-aircraft complex “Buk” in the Donetsk region with the help of the American HIMARS launcher.
Operators of the 3rd SSO regiment during reconnaissance on the Donetsk front spotted the Buk-M2 anti-aircraft missile system and the 9C36 radar station attached to it, writes “Ukrainian Pravda”.
The Buk air defense system is designed, in particular, to destroy aircraft, tactical and aviation ballistic missiles, as well as ground targets.
SSO operators directed a unit of the missile forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fire on the Russian Buk-M2 and the radar station.
As a result of adjusting the range and high-precision shooting, Russian equipment was destroyed.
