08:39 Russian air defenses shot down a Ukrainian drone in the Moscow region and six others headed for the annexed Crimean peninsula, Russia’s defense ministry said on Sunday, citing AFP and Agerpres.

One of the drones was intercepted at 01:45 local time (Saturday, 22:45 GMT) in the Istrina district of the Moscow region, the ministry reported on Telegram.

“According to preliminary information, there are no destructions and no victims at the site of the falling debris,” Moscow Mayor Serhiy Sobyanin also reported on Telegram.

Two Ukrainian drones were also shot down around 01:15 Moscow time (Saturday 22:15 GMT) on the western coast of Crimea, followed by four more 30 minutes later over the eastern and northwestern coasts of the peninsula, the Ministry of Defense reported.
