CCTV footage shows a Russian man returning home from the front, sitting on a bench in front of an apartment building, as he urges two children to pull out the pin of a grenade. Since the children did not approach him, the soldier decided to finish the matter himself.

Footage captured by the neighborhood’s surveillance camera shows a soldier and a woman sitting on a bench, with two children in front of them and another woman at the entrance to the neighborhood.

The conversation of a soldier, children and women can be heard on the recording.

• – “Let’s blow it up. Let’s do it!” says the soldier
• “Don’t do it,” says the woman next to him
• – “There, in the groves, we will throw it away. This is a grenade with an acoustic effect. It will be loud. The alarm will start ringing,” the soldier says again.
• – Do we quit or not? – asks the soldier
• “No,” says the woman
• – Yes, – says the child, not coming closer
• “No, please,” says the woman standing next to her again, and the woman waiting on the steps of the apartment building looks at them.
• – “Come here, shoot.” You shoot and I shoot,” says the soldier, while the woman next to him gestures for the children to leave.
• A soldier pulls out a pin and throws a grenade, and the women start cursing, and soon the grenade explodes.
• – “You idiot?” – shouted a woman in front of the block.
