
Russian forces launched 32 explosive drones over Ukraine on Saturday night, most of them over the Kyiv region, according to the Ukrainian military, which said it shot down 25 of them, AFP reported.
“Last day, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with 32 Shahed-136/131 UAVs, 25 of which were destroyed by the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces. The Russian occupiers directed most of the attack drones in the direction of Kyiv region,” the General Staff of Ukraine said in a statement on Sunday morning.
“The drones entered the capital in groups and from different directions. Air defense forces managed to destroy more than two dozen unmanned aerial vehicles of the enemy,” said the message of the military administration of Kyiv in Telegram.
According to the same source, the apartment, as well as cars and trolleybus cables were damaged by falling debris.
One person was injured, his life is not in danger.

According to Serhiy Popka, the head of the capital’s military administration, debris from downed drones fell in the Svyatoshyn, Podil and Shevchenkiv districts.
According to Popko, debris fell on a residential building in the Shevchenkiv district in the center of Kyiv, there were no casualties, only the fire was extinguished by the owners.
In the Svyatoshyn district in the west of the capital, “Sovki” park, one of the most famous squares of the city, caught fire due to garbage, Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klychko said.
In the Podilskyi district in the center of Kyiv, debris fell on an open space, according to Klitschko, medics on the spot provided assistance to a person who had an “acute stress attack.”
Also, according to the mayor, other burning debris fell on the road in the central Solomyan district.
