“Dear residents of Izmail district! That night, the enemy launched an almost 4-hour attack on the port infrastructure of the Danube from Shahed-136 drones, three of which were destroyed by our air defense forces.

As a result of the night shelling, six people were injured (four wounded were hospitalized, one of them was in a condition of moderate severity, closer to severe, three – with light shrapnel wounds and body bruises).

All receive full medical care.

As a result of the impact, the grain shed was destroyed, containers for storing goods were damaged. A fire broke out in one of the technical premises, which has already been extinguished.

I urge everyone: do not neglect your own safety, do not ignore the warning of air raids, take cover or use the “two walls” rule.

Be careful, let’s save Ukraine together!” Rodion Abashev wrote on Facebook.

Last night, Russia attacked the Ukrainian ports on the Danube, Reni (just a few kilometers from Galati) and Izmail.

They are important for the transportation of Ukrainian grain. After Russia did not extend the agreement on transit through the Black Sea, Izmail and Reni remained practically the only seaports through which Ukrainian goods can be exported from the country.

Images on social media showed a series of explosions at the port of Reni, as well as anti-aircraft guns firing at kamikaze drones.
