On Sunday, Russian state television aired a recording in which Russian President Vladimir Putin mocks European politicians, whom he describes as completely dependent on the United States, DPA and Agerpres news agencies reported.
“If they are told tomorrow: ‘We have decided to hang you all,’ they will, lowering their eyes, ask only one thing: ‘Can we do it with locally produced ropes?'” Vladimir Putin’s agency quotes Russian news agency TASS.
“I think it will be a fiasco for them, because the Americans are unlikely to refuse such a large contract for their textile industry,” Putin added.
At the same time, Putin said on Russian television that Russian experts will analyze NATO weapons captured in the war against Ukraine and use them to improve their own military systems.
“I think this is an opportunity to analyze them to see if there is something that can be applied in our country, why not?” Putin said on television in the material, which aired on Sunday.
