The United States announced on Tuesday that it will provide Ukraine with new military equipment worth up to 500 million dollars (456 million euros), writes AFP.
The new aid includes Bradley fighting vehicles and Stryker armored personnel carriers, as well as ammunition for the Himars multiple-launch rocket systems, the Pentagon said in a statement.
It is implemented under the Presidential Recall Authority (PDA), which allows the President of the United States to use stocks in emergency situations without prior authorization from Congress.
This aid is the 41st aid announced by Washington to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion in February 2022, for a total amount estimated at more than 40 billion dollars, according to News.ro.
