Silvia Mushetoiu, a lecturer at the National College of Gheorghe Xinkai, said on Tuesday about the case of students whose bachelor’s degrees were canceled on the grounds that they filled in the wrong data, that we exaggerated with these grades on paper and ended up driving. Kids are crazy, she shows that this is not an isolated case, but this problem has also occurred in other exam centers in the country, according to News.ro.
“I think we’re overdoing it with these paper grades, we’ve ended up driving the kids crazy by telling them that every picture is different… I think we’ve gotten to the point of overdoing it with these grades because here, during the exam, such situations, created by the committee, appear to the bachelor, who should have known clearly what he should do, to teach his assistants well, and they to teach the candidates very well, “said Silvia Museta, in the show Country Project: Romania, from Prima News.
She clarified that the assistants should have noticed that there was a problem from the beginning when the work was completed in a secret location and there would have been no problem, at most the excess sheets would have been used.
“But to come and say that an hour or a half later, when the children have filled out three or four pages with a report on their work, is too much,” the teacher added.
When asked if this incident only happened at Gheorghe Shinkai High School, the teacher replied: “No, you will be surprised to know that after we released this information, other schools came forward, only we were maybe more noticeable”.
On Monday, students, parents and teachers at the National College of Gheorghe Xincai in Bucharest complained that dozens of papers by students taking a Romanian language exam were invalidated on the grounds that the word in the title was written below or on the next line. They demand the replacement of the entire commission because the assistants forced the children to rewrite the papers an hour after the test began, without giving them additional time.
“The whole baccommission needs to be changed urgently, canceling the work of dozens of children for writing the word “DE” in the “proba de…” – that is, in the title – or just below the line on which it follows or in the next line. It wouldn’t be a problem to cancel the assignments if it didn’t happen ONE HOUR or more after the start of the test, that is, after the kids had completed 3-4 pages of written work,” the teacher wrote.
