
At least five people have died in an explosion at a rocket factory in Ankara, foreign networks report.
The explosion occurred at approximately 8:45 am local time at the facilities of the state-owned Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation, in a suburb of the Turkish capital.

Several ambulances and fire engines arrived at the scene.
This was reported to journalists by the local governor Vasip Shahin. no other stuck workers waiting to be rescued or transported to the hospital.
The windows of neighboring houses were knocked out by the force of the shock wave, according to the NTV channel.
A police investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances that caused the explosion.
