OUR Ukraine need four degrees F-16 (total 48 fighters) to liberate their territories from Russian invaders, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
“4 F16 squadrons (48 aircraft) are exactly what we need to liberate our country from the aggressor,” the Ukrainian Defense Ministry specifically notes in its post.

Western countries seem to be setting the stage for sending the first such Western fighters to Ukraine. However, some of the countries promoting these plans, such as the UK, do not even have F-16s at their disposal.
According to analysts, such a transfer of aircraft to Ukraine will take several months at best. Currently, several countries have offered to train Ukrainian pilots to fly this type of fighter. However, it is still unclear whether, who and when can send F-16s to Ukraine.
