“Actually, the hostile actions of the Kyiv regime against our country continue,” Kremlin spokesman Dmytro Peskov said on Thursday, Russian news agency Interfax reports.

About this, he commented on the message of the FSB of Russia about the detention of two men who allegedly wanted to blow up high-voltage power lines at nuclear power plants in order to disable them.

What would the FSB report?

According to the FSB, the sabotage attempt occurred before May 9, the day when Russia commemorates the victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany in World War II.

According to the FSB, the attackers tried to detonate about 30 high-voltage power lines leading to nuclear power plants in the Leningrad region around the city of St. Petersburg and in the Tver region north of Moscow.

Two suspected Ukrainians were detained, one more was declared wanted, the SBU reported.

The FSB has repeatedly reported on allegedly prevented terrorist attacks, which, in its opinion, were the work of Ukrainian saboteurs, reminds the German news agency.
