Russian officials condemned the Ukrainian attack and claimed they had managed to destroy three unmanned speedboats, but images released by the Ukrainians showed at least one of the drones coming close to the vessel’s hull.

In a video published by the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Anton Herashchenko, he claims that one of the three drones allegedly hit the target.

On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense in Moscow says that it was an “unsuccessful attack attempt by three unmanned speedboats” and that the ship “Ivan Khurs” “continues to perform its assigned tasks”, but did not specify whether there was any damage.

Images of such a naval drone attack and how such a vessel comes under fire from a Russian ship and explodes in the sea have been published in Russian media.

It is unclear whether the footage was taken at the same moment, or whether there were multiple attacks at different times over the past day.
