The murder of Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky on Sunday in St. Petersburg was a “terrorist attack,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today, adding that there was evidence of Ukraine’s involvement in the attack.
In a conversation with reporters, Peskov stressed that this was a “terrorist act.”
“The investigation is ongoing,” he added. “We see that fairly stable steps are being taken to detain suspects. Let’s be patient and wait for the next statements from the special services working on the case,” he added.
The Kremlin spokesman noted the presence of signs of involvement of the Ukrainian special services in the preparation of the attack, while stressing that Kyiv supports the attacks and may be behind the murder of Tatarsky.
At the same time, Peskov stressed that security measures by Victory Day, May 9, would be strengthened.
