She may have lost one of her lives in her terror, but a black cat stuck under the hood of a moving car in Kent made it through the eight-kilometer journey unharmed.

Rose crouched under the hood of David King’s Vauxhall Astra for warmth when he decided to check the oil level after driving his grandson to school in Kent.

King quickly ran back to his house, “yelling for me to go take a look,” his wife, Tina, describes.

I thought what was going on,” she says, admitting, however, that “what I did not expect to see were two eyes looking at him through a black furry ball.”

“We weren’t even sure she was alive. I gently poked her with a stick to see if she was breathing, and they found it to be a frightened little kitten. He became even more frightened and went even deeper into the car. I tried to get through to her, but she was too deeply immersed in herself, and it was impossible to distract her, ”says Ms. King.

Finally, people from the Cat Defense organization were called to her aid, who rescued four-year-old Rose by handing her over to guardian and neighbor of the kings, Alison Webster.

According to her, she thought he was sleeping in her son’s room, and she was locked in a neighbor’s hood,

“Rose is my family and she has been through a lot on this adventure. I’m sure she wasted one of her seven lives. But she is lucky, and I am also lucky that I have her, ”he said.

“She must have been terrified when the car pulled up to the school,” Kim Brasher says of the charity.
