A new video posted on social media by the Ukrainian Armed Forces shows how their fighters managed to direct a kamikaze drone directly into the commander’s hatch of a moving Russian tank.

The footage shows the tank being spotted from a considerable distance, the drone approaching it, and then accelerating in the final stretch before impact, as well as the last seconds of the Russian tanker’s life. In the last frames of the recording, his helmet is clearly visible.

A separate video appears to show that a Russian T-80BV tank was disabled by the strike and abandoned by surviving servicemen. The K2 battalion of the 54th brigade of the Armed Forces struck a noticeable blow.

According to independent geolocation, the strike occurred near the village of Spirne in the east of the Donetsk region, not far from the border with Luhansk.
