PASOK: N. Oturas excluded from voting after EDE conclusion on inspector’s sick leave

Beyond his ballots PASOK – Movement for Change in Magnesia, the doctor Nikolaos Oturas is placed after the conclusion of the EDE regarding the sick leave received by the head of the station after the tragedy in Tempe.

PASOK said in a statement that “these actions are taken out of principle and political morality, although this is a violation that is not directly related to the tragedy and does not in any way interfere with the judicial and disciplinary investigation.”

“We point out, however, that we are saddened that Kostas Karamanlis, politically responsible for the fatal tragedy, remained on the ballot for New Democracy, which, eight days before the accident, publicly assured Parliament of the safety of the railway tracks. This disdain for institutions and transparency was also adopted by SYRIZA, leaving Nikos Papp, unanimously condemned by the Special Court, in its vote. It is clear who represents a new political ethos, radically opposing pathologies, and who, for incomparably more serious actions that directly affect public interests, does nothing, being an integral part of them and covering up criminal liability,” PASOK adds in a statement.

Recall that, as it turned out from the EDE, the head of the station received a sick leave after the tragedy in Tempi, without passing a single diagnostic examination and without appearing at G.N. hair.

According to the sources of the Ministry of Health, after the completion of the Sworn Examination for the provision of a sick leave received by the inspector on the orders of the Minister of Health Thanos Pleuris, the EDE case is forwarded without delay by the commander of the 5th Ministry of Health, Fotis Seretis, to the investigator due to the importance, the doctors involved are suspended and referred to the disciplinary commission.
