The United States welcomes the commitments made by Israel and the Palestinian Authority today to de-escalate and prevent further violence, White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said in a statement.
“We recognize that this meeting was a starting point and that much work remains to be done in the coming weeks and months to build a stable future full of prosperity for both Israelis and Palestinians,” Sullivan said of the meeting in Aqaba.
