On the eve of the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the German Chancellor also confirmed that “this Russian invasion will not and should not succeed“.

In addition, he stated that the West will continue to support him. Ukraine as much as you like, but it will not be “smart” for Ukraine to use the received weapons to strike at the territory of Russia.

According to him, sending military aircraft to Ukraine to enter the battlefield “does not make sense at the moment.”
