Under the strictest security measures, the President of Ukraine and the French minister flew to the presidential palace, where Zelensky is known to meet with the French President. Emmanuel Macron and Chancellor of Germany Olaf Soltzarrived earlier in Paris and already in the Elysee Palace.
Tomorrow on Thursday, the top three will go to Brussels. According to political analysts, today’s consultations will focus on strengthening Ukraine with fighter aircraft.
The Ukrainian side today sent a similar request to London, with the Ukrainian president characteristically saying “give us wings of victory”, while the British side said that “in the long term” this is possible.
Moreover, in an interview with French newspaper Le Figaro. and in the German magazine Der Spiegel, Zelensky expresses gratitude to French President Macron for his position on Ukrainian, noting that “it was he who paved the way for the delivery of tanks to Ukraine.”
He also assessed that the French President “has really changed” since he said that “Russia cannot be humiliated”, which caused strong discontent in Kyiv.
