On February 8, the Swedish Parliament approved the tenth round of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 4.3 billion kroner (about 406 million dollars), Kyiv Independent reports.
The aid package, first announced in mid-January, reportedly includes modern Archer self-propelled artillery systems, Stridsfordon 90 armored personnel carriers, anti-tank weapons, assault rifles and mine clearance equipment.
Archer is one of the most advanced artillery systems in the world, capable of launching projectiles at a distance of up to 50 kilometers. The Swedish government did not specify how many Archer self-propelled guns will be delivered to Ukraine.
Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion on February 24, Sweden has provided Ukraine with more than $475 million.
