Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu met in Jerusalem today with Chadian President Mahamat Deby (who happens to be the son of Idriss Deby) ahead of the opening of Chad’s first embassy in Israel, which will be located in a suburb of Tel Aviv.
Israel and Chad since 2018 began to restore their diplomatic relations, broken off in the early 1970s.
