The suicide bombing that took place today in a crowded store mosque in Peshawar city northwest Pakistan, at least 33 people were killed and about 150 were injured. This is the latest attack on police in a city where armed Islamists continue to operate.

Peshawar, which sits on the fringes of tribal areas bordering Afghanistan, is often targeted by armed groups, including the Pakistani Taliban.
