Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Sunday that its forces launched a wave of missile strikes on Ukrainian military and infrastructure targets on Saturday, without mentioning the strike on the Dnipro bloc, Reuters reported.

The Russian Ministry of Defense did not name the Dnipro as a specific target of any strike.

In a statement, Russia claims that “all identified objects were hit. The goals of the strikes were achieved.”

Moscow’s claims came after at least 21 people (including a 15-year-old girl) were killed in a Russian attack on a residential complex in the eastern city of Dnipro on Saturday night, according to Ukrainian authorities.

Also, 73 people were injured, 40 of whom were hospitalized.

The Russians’ claim that all the missiles hit their targets can also be questioned, as the Ukrainians say they shot down 26 missiles fired by the Russians on Saturday.

In addition, fragments of the Russian missile launched on Saturday over Ukraine were discovered on the territory of the Republic of Moldova by the border police patrol.
