In the same letter, signed by the general director of Ukrtransnafta, Volodymyr Tsependa, it is also stated that the expenses for the organization of safe working conditions for Ukrtransnafta employees, as well as the protection of the company’s facilities, have increased.

Under these conditions, the operator of the network of oil pipelines in Ukraine informed “Transneft” that from January 1, 2023, it will increase the tariffs for the transportation of crude oil to Hungary and Slovakia by 2.10 euros per ton, to 13.60 euros per ton. .

The increase in tariffs will be discussed in the government

These rates were also increased in April this year, making the total increase adopted during the year 51%.

In response, Transneft confirmed to the TASS agency that it had received the letter from Ukrtransnafta and was studying it.

According to TASS, the operator of the oil pipeline network in Russia will discuss this topic with the government in Moscow.

On November 15, supplies of Russian oil to Eastern Europe were suspended for a day after an artillery shelling of a power plant serving the Druzhba oil pipeline in Ukraine. On that day, Russia fired about 100 missiles over Ukraine, reports the BBC in Kyiv.
