TV presenter Volodymyr Solovyov, perhaps Russia’s most famous TV propagandist, donned a military helmet to demonstrate to Russian recruits just how good the equipment they are getting.
“What does Moscow offer?” Solovyov begins his monologue addressed to “those who complain about what they get.”
“They say the patches on the body armor are not the same. They say it’s all wrong. This is a bulletproof vest,” the propagandist points to the one brought to him on the table.
With more and more videos of mobilized Russian servicemen complaining about their equipment, Volodymyr Solovyov has taken it upon himself to fix it and show them what he was given on his fun trip to the Russian military village of Potemkin in the Donbass. pic.twitter.com/QeF1MzHkt5

Soloviev claims that he will go to the training ground to personally test the body armor and helmet, which were also brought to the exhibition, and show that they have everything a soldier needs on the modern battlefield.
“You can put it on your head or take it off, whatever you do with it, it just won’t break. Tactical glasses are excellent. [Casca] it has everything you need and nothing is missing,” he insists.
“Check it out too, the quality is great! It’s fine,” he says before putting the helmet on his head. “Great!” he concludes after trying on the equipment.
“Also, you get gloves, all paid for by Moscow,” says Solovyov, before moving on to other equipment that Russian recruits should theoretically receive: elbow pads, knee pads, “what else do you need besides that? “.
“Isoprene, take a sleeping bag. Take it here,” he continued his presentation. “You have a sleeping bag, you also have a yeti,” he tells the Russian recruits.
Russian propaganda is trying to cover up shortages in military warehouses
Solovyov’s presentation came after he lashed out at Russian conscripts complaining about the equipment and training they receive after being drafted into the armed forces as a result of the partial mobilization adopted on September 21 in another of his shows last week.
“What did you do on the training ground to prepare for battle? Or do you think that everyone owes you? What do you owe to the state, what do you owe to the Motherland? I never asked those questions,” he said, among other things, at the time.
His comments came after a wave of videos appeared on Russian social media and Telegram channels of Russian conscripts themselves complaining about the equipment they receive, the training or the conditions in which they are kept in barracks.
In the interval between Solovyov’s previous show and the current one, a new video appeared on Russian social networks showing the officer being threatened by recruits dissatisfied with their conditions of detention, the lack or lack of medicine, training and military equipment. .
“I will come to your headquarters and start tearing off each of your limbs one by one. Every 15 minutes until I get answers to my questions, or rather, until I see concrete actions,” one of the recruits threatened the officer.
“You do not fulfill the direct order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding the provision of uniforms and accessories, as well as the training of the mobilized. In essence, you are sabotaging the orders of the Supreme Commander. You should be arrested,” the recruit told him.
