OUR Khersonimportant city in the south Ukraine recaptured today by Ukrainian troops after the withdrawal of Russian troops is “ours,” the Ukrainian President welcomed Vladimir Zelensky.
“Our people. Our. Kherson,” Zelensky wrote on Telegram, accompanying his short message with the blue and yellow flag of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian army announced today that it has “entered” Kherson.
The President of Ukraine stressed that there are already special units of the Armed Forces in the city.
“Today is a historic day. We are engaged in the return of Kherson,” he said in a video message. He added that other Ukrainian forces were deployed near the city.
