Although Ukrainian Pravda notes that this is likely the first publicly known case of the capture of a Russian drone of this type in Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion, the well-known website Oryx, which monitors military equipment and casualties on both sides of the war in Ukraine, claims that this is the second such a loss for the Russians.

Fighters of the Kharkiv Separate Territorial Defense Brigade say that the aircraft was unable to reach the positions of the Ukrainians and fell “in the gray zone”.

The Granat-4 UAV has a maximum take-off weight of 30 kg, a maximum payload of 3 kg, a length of 2.4 m, a maximum speed of 145 km/h, and a flight range of up to 70 km.

Drones of the Garanat family are developed by the Russian defense company Izhmash-Unmanned Systems.
