OUR Claire Foyknown for her role Elizabeth II UK in his popular drama series Netflix “Crown(“The Crown”), said she was “honored” to tell part of the late Queen’s story.

The British actress played the queen at a younger age in the show’s first two seasons, before we’ve seen Olivia Colman and Imelda Staunton which we expect to see in the next cycles.

“I think she was an amazing monarch,” the actress told BBC News during the Toronto Film Festival, where she is promoting her new film, Women Speak. He added: “It brought people together and became a huge symbol of continuity, dignity and grace.”

The actress, who recently starred in the historical drama mini-series A Very British Scandal, said of the Queen, “I like to think of her as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I’m honored to be a small, small part of her story.”

The first cycle of episodes, which chronicles the Queen’s wedding to Prince Philip, the coronation and the first years on the throne, returned to the list of 10 series that viewers prefer to watch these days shortly after the death of Elizabeth.

“Queen Elizabeth II was in the hearts and minds of viewers,” notes Netflix.

For the role of Queen Elizabeth Foy received an Emmy and a Golden Globe.

Coleman, who we saw as Elizabeth in the third and fourth seasons of The Crown, was also in Canada this week promoting her new film Empire of Light.

The award-winning actress told Variety on Friday she is proud of her British citizenship after watching King Charles III’s first speech since his mother’s death. “It was so beautiful. He talked about love, tolerance and kindness, and I believe that this is what he wanted, and this is what he did. She made a promise at a young age and kept it with such dignity, and I think we are all impressed with what she did, I was struck by the king’s beautiful speech.”

The fifth season of The Crown will premiere in November. Staunton will play the queen of the 90s.
