A new video that has surfaced on social media shows a Russian vehicle loaded with 200 anti-tank mines burning after hitting a mine in turn.

As Ukraine Weapons Tracker also notes, the car was completely destroyed after hitting a mine near the city of Zaporizhia, the capital of the region of the same name in southeastern Ukraine.

A team from the International Atomic Energy Agency arrived in the region on Thursday to inspect the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant after bombings in its immediate vicinity raised fears of a possible nuclear accident.

It is interesting that the video of the burning Russian car was first published in his Telegram channel by “Grey Zone”, the pseudonym of one of the most famous fighters of the PMK “Wagner”, who is fighting in Ukraine.

On Monday, he also stated in Telegram regarding the counter-offensive launched by Ukraine in the Kherson region that the Kyivans managed to advance significantly in some areas of the front, but added that Ukrainian forces were repulsed in other areas of the offensive.

On Wednesday, he said that part of the Russian units moved away from the front line, which, in his opinion, was the “correct decision” given the concentration of Ukrainian troops.

The equipment of the Russian army has problems with mines

Several videos that have appeared on social media platforms in recent months have captured the often inexplicable moments when Russian tanks or armored vehicles roll up on me and spectacularly explode, even though the danger seems obvious.

One such footage, released in mid-August, shows an infantry fighting vehicle hitting a mine while trying to ram two other decommissioned armored vehicles.

Russian soldiers in armored vehicles quickly jump out of it after the explosion, two fell to the ground immediately afterwards, although it is not known whether they were wounded or trying to hide.

The recording immediately recalled another one that appeared in July, this time with a tank of the Russian armed forces. In the first part of the frame, you can see how the combat vehicle blows up after hitting a mine among 4 other tanks that were thrown by Moscow soldiers in close proximity.

Another footage, which appeared on social media at the end of August, shows two Russian tanks jumping into the air after running over me, just as they were rapidly advancing and shelling Ukrainian army positions.

Here, the danger for Russian armored vehicles is not so obvious, but the result is no less impressive.
