Provocative show Akar: F-16 flight in the northern Aegean

In fact, the corresponding video was published in the account of the Turkish Ministry of Defense, where the post said:

“Hulusi Akar greeted the Çanakkale Martyrs Monument and broadcast a message on the radio: “We will try to be worthy of all our martyrs, especially our martyrs who lie in Çanakkale, and we will continue our fight against the spirit of Çanakkale.” “.

It is recalled that earlier the Turkish Minister of Defense, speaking at a military event, among other things, noted that Ankara would continue to respond to the “impudence” of Greece, which, according to him, was reported by the Anadolu agency.

“We are closely following what Greece is doing. We are closely following their provocative actions and statements. We give appropriate answers both at the table and at the front, in the context of reciprocity, and we will continue in the same spirit,” he said.

And he continued: “We have always said and continue to say that we will defend our rights and interests in the Aegean Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean to the end, as we have done so far. We are determined to protect our rights and interests in the Aegean, in the Eastern Mediterranean and in Cyprus, thank God, we are capable of this.”

He also addressed NATO allies.… warning them to be objective about the Greek movements.

“NATO and third countries should watch what Greece is doing.. His actions and rhetoric towards Turkey do not fit into the framework of friendship and alliance,” the Turkish Defense Minister said.

Accusing our country of “wrong, aggressive and illegal actions and statements,” he returned to allegedly harassing two Turkish fighters with S-300 radars.

Hulusi Akar also raised the subject of the catastrophe in Asia Minor, linking it to the present. He characteristically said: “In 1919-1922, Greece, with the support of some countries, tried to invade and was disappointed as a result. Stop this persistence. With these so-called equipment efforts and so-called alliances, you won’t achieve anything.”

And again ended with threats: “We repeatedly reminded our interlocutors not to embark on such an adventure, not to get into trouble again, not to suffer a big blow again, to abandon these efforts that will lead to disappointment, and to learn from history.”

It is reminded that earlier there was a reaction from the USA, through the State Department, regarding Ankara’s non-existent accusations against Greek S-300s and allegations of alleged harassment of Turkish aircraft. Among other things, the US Foreign Ministry assured that there is no risk of sanctions against the S-300 anti-missile system.
