
Investigators have opened a criminal investigation into the murder of Oleksandr Dugin’s daughter, who died as a result of the explosion of the car he was driving near Moscow, reports the Russian news agency TASS. According to a court source cited by TASS, an explosive device was allegedly placed under the car during the festival attended by Daria Dugin on Saturday night.

At the “Tradition” festival near Moscow, unknown people planted explosives in the car in which Daria Dugina died, according to Russian investigators, TASS cites.
Police say the car that exploded and killed Daria Dugin was parked in a parking lot where anyone could plant an explosive device.
“There were many guests at the festival, people parked cars on the left and right on the Zvenigorodskyi highway, where the Zakharovo estate is located. There was also a parking lot that was almost completely occupied by cars. There was also a jeep with which Daria Dugina left the event, the control on there was no entrance to the parking lot, so explosives could be placed anywhere and at anyone’s home, which was done,” the investigator told the Russian news agency TASS.
The law enforcement agencies reported that an explosive device was placed under the Toyota Land Cruiser, on the driver’s side, driven by Daria Dugina.
Daria Dugina, who was driving the SUV, died on the spot.
The investigation of the crime will be carried out by the central apparatus of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, which states that the attack was deliberate and ordered.
