
At least 20 people were burned today as a result of a fire that broke out in a bus that collided with a fuel truck in the central part of the city. Pakistanaccording to the police.
A long-distance bus crashed into the body of a tanker at night on the outskirts of the city of Multan.
“Twenty people died in an accident caused by a fire,” which broke out afterwards, senior police official Rao Zulfiqar Ali told AFP. He added that six people were injured.
The bus was completely destroyed by fire.
Public transport accidents are frequent in Pakistan due to poor road conditions, vehicles in poor condition and careless driving.
In 2015, 62 people died again in a traffic accident involving a bus and a tanker in the southern province of Sindh.
