
Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Tuesday that a military depot near the town of Jankoy in northern Crimea was damaged by sabotage, the Russian state news agency RIA Novosti reported, citing Reuters.
Crimean officials reported that a large fire broke out at an ammunition warehouse in the area on Tuesday.
The Russian state news agency TASS, citing the Ministry of Defense, reported that civilian infrastructure, including a power plant, was damaged during the “sabotage”.
Ukraine has neither confirmed nor denied its involvement in a series of recent explosions in Crimea, annexed by Russia in 2014.
