
The Ukrainian army says it has received protective equipment for the dogs that accompany its soldiers, and also shows images of gifts for the four-legged defense forces.
“Protective equipment for four-legged fighters of various units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from benefactors and volunteers. Thank you very much! Together we will win!”, says the post on Twitter page Ukrainian General Staff.
The pictures show first aid kits for K-9 teams, goggles and vests, and even some four-legged footwear.
Military dogs are commonly trained to detect bombs and weapons, and to locate and even attack enemy soldiers.
