OUR war her Russia in Ukraine British military intelligence said today that the fighting will move to a front stretching almost 350 kilometers southwest from areas near Zaporozhye to Kherson along the Dnieper River.

Russian forces are almost certainly concentrating in southern Ukraine, waiting for a counterattack or preparing for a possible attack, the UK Ministry of Defense said on Twitter.

Large columns of Russian military trucks, armored vehicles, as well as towed guns continue to leave the territory of Donbass and move to the southwest.

According to a British ministry briefing, regular battalions of between 800 and 1,000 troops are stationed in Crimea and will almost certainly be used to support Russian troops in the Kherson region.

Ukrainian forces are increasingly targeting bridges, ammunition depots and rail lines in the country’s southern regions, including a strategically important rail line linking Kherson with Russian-held Crimea, the briefing said.
