Her Ministry of Defense Russia reported today that the situation in his disputed enclave is deteriorating Nagorno-Karabakh and around it due to clashes between the forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Earlier, separatist forces in Nagorno-Karabakh announced a partial mobilization.
Nagorno-Karabakh, supported by Armenia, seceded from Azerbaijan after a bloody ethnic conflict in the early 1990s, and in 2020 Azerbaijan managed to regain part of the territory controlled by the separatists.
Under the terms of the ceasefire agreement, Russian peacekeepers were deployed to defend territory still held by the separatists.
Moscow has accused Azerbaijani forces of violating the ceasefire, noting that Russian peacekeepers are seeking to stabilize the situation in the troubled region.
In recent days of fighting, Azerbaijani forces claim to have killed four separatist fighters and wounded fifteen more.
