
The Islamic State (ISIS) on Saturday released a photo showing the four perpetrators of a bloody gun attack that killed at least 143 people at a concert hall on the outskirts of the Russian capital Moscow, the militants’ Amaq news agency reported. in a statement on Telegram, Reuters reports.
“The attack took place in the context of a violent war between the Islamic State and countries fighting against Islam,” the Amaq news agency added in a statement, citing security sources.
Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack on Friday night, but there are signs that Russia is pursuing ties with Ukraine, despite Ukrainian officials strongly denying Kyiv’s involvement in the attack.
Russian authorities announced on Saturday that they had arrested 11 people, including four armed suspects, in connection with the attack.

According to Russian authorities, at least 143 people were killed and more than 100 injured, many of them critically, during the shooting at the Crocus City Hall concert.
The United States said it had information about an attack being planned in Moscow and told Russia about it earlier this month.
