CFR SA reports that trains going to and from the airport are delayed due to an engine failure between Pajura and Mogoșoaia stations. Some trains are more than 60 minutes late, and a train that was supposed to leave North Station at 9.10 is 40 minutes late.
Car 7038, running on the route Bucharest Nord – Urziceni, broke down around 08:38 between Pajura and Mogoșoaia stations. Trains R 7915 (Bucharest – Airport) and R 10108 (Airport – Bucharest North) are temporarily stopped at Pajur and Mogoshoai respectively, pending the arrival of another auxiliary engine to tow the faulty set, CFR SA said.
Trains running at this time on the Gara de Nord – Airport route and back will have delays both at the orientation stations and at the destination.
