“Operators of the Special Operations Forces tracked the target and reported it to units of the Missile and Artillery Forces of Ukraine for further destruction. The enemy target was destroyed,” SOS reported.
Palantin, presented by Russia as a highly mobile EW (electronic warfare) complex of an operational-tactical level, can disable the enemy’s electronics at a distance of up to a thousand kilometers, completely cutting off communication within the range, according to TASS, according to DefenseRomania.ro, in 2019, when the Kremlin officially announced the first use of the system.
“Palantyn” can combine various systems of radio-electronic warfare and radio-electronic intelligence into a single combat network, which significantly increases the effectiveness of their use, notes “Ukrainian Pravda”.
