Elias Charalambous believes that the Rapid – FCSB match will not determine the champion

At the top of the Super League table, Rapid and FCSB will play each other in a match that could increase the distance for the Red and Blues or resume the title race if the Cherries win.

However, FCSB coach Elias Charalambous does not believe that this game is the decisive one that will decide the future champion.

“As always, another difficult match awaits us. It is no different from other dates. We are aiming to win this game. Three points could be very important for the future.

This is not a final, it is a match like any other until the end of the competition. Yes, this is the last game of the regular season, but regardless of the result, the champion will not be decided now.

We have to give our best in this match and not focus on other aspects. After the last matches I realized that my players are in shape, hopefully we will have a good match tomorrow.

We have to look as a team, have a good collective game, because only two or three players perform well, it does not help us. Rapid are a good team, have good players and we have to be very careful, very aggressive. I think the little details will make a difference.

Rapid is a good team with very good players, but if you look at the ranking, the cost of the teams is very close. I don’t think that Rapid is the only team that will fight with us for the championship title.

It doesn’t matter in which stadium we play. The National Arena is a good stadium, very beautiful and very good for the players. In addition, there are many fans and there will be a pleasant atmosphere.

I hope there will be a full stadium and a pleasant atmosphere. The most important thing is for the players to make their fans happy tomorrow and I hope that happens.” – said Elias Charalambousreports Agerpres.

The derby between Rapid and FCSB will take place on Saturday at the National Arena at 20:00 and will be broadcast live on HotNews.ro.
