“We have an understanding of the documents that lie on the enemy’s table and what his further plan is. We will counter them,” Zelenskyy said, without giving further details, in his address to his compatriots at the end of each day, News.ro reports.

With Kyryll Budanov, head of Ukraine’s military intelligence (MIU), Zelenskyy said he was talking about “special actions” because the MIU announced on Monday that it was the origin of an operation to sabotage a railway bridge in Russia’s Samara region, located on a railway track for the transport of military material

“We need a clear result regarding the destruction of Russian military infrastructure and logistics. Greater result. That’s how it will be,” Zelensky said in a video speech on Monday evening.

The head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk, in turn, reported to him about countering Russian sabotage groups, “those criminals who terrorize our border,” according to Zelenskyi. The boy also informed him about the opposition to the collaborators. “There are good results in neutralizing these people,” Zelensky assessed.

The president said that on Monday he held a “long” meeting with the recently appointed head of the army Oleksandr Sirskyi and with the head of the General Staff Anatoly Bargilevich about problems and tasks at the front, about operations and prospects. .

“Despite all the shortcomings, the ability of our soldiers to destroy the occupiers should not be reduced,” Zelenskyi emphasized, noting that Syrskyi is often on the front lines.

“Real combat commanders on the front lines and in brigades are involved in the development of solutions. Today we agreed and signed a number of new appointments necessary for the defense forces,” the president said.

He also reported that he had a separate conversation with the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov about the supply of weapons and the proper equipment of the brigades. “Each combat brigade, each advanced unit should receive more modern weapons,” Zelenskyy said. In this context, he expressed optimism about Ukrainian-made long-range drones.

“Today, there was also a separate report by Deputy Prime Minister Kubrakov. First of all, it was about the activities of our maritime export corridor. Almost 30 million tons of cargo have already been processed at sea. This is very important for wartime. And I am grateful to everyone who works in our ports, on ships and everyone who ensures the operation of the maritime corridor and its safety,” Zelenskyy said.

His speech on Monday evening, in which he summed up the day, gave the impression of a mobilization and a rethinking of strategy, given that the deadlock in the US Congress persists and Ukraine is suffering from a lack of weapons from the West while Russia goes on the offensive.
