Bucharest local police stopped five people with suspicious behavior on IC Brătianu boulevard in the capital. During the inspection, they found envelopes with suspicious substances, as well as probably stolen items. The police found swords, knives and sticks in their car.

“Around 18:00, the local police of the Bucharest Municipality, patrolling the Old Center, identified a group of 5 people behaving suspiciously on IC Brătianu Boulevard no. 44. After identification, they found self-sealing envelopes, one of which contained a suspicious substance, a scale and an iPhone 13 Pro wrapped in foil (possibly stolen),” local police in Bucharest said on Tuesday evening, as quoted by News.ro.

The local police specified that they requested the intervention of police officers from the Old Center, who found blunt objects (swords, knives, boxes, sticks) in the trunk of the car.

“The persons were handed over to the police for further investigation,” the source said.
