“No, I’m an independent mayor,” Nikusor Dan replied, according to News.ro. He noted that he cooperated very well in the General Council with USR, PMP, and PNL. “In the public space, I have a very good cooperation with Prava sila, with RAPPER,” the mayor added.

Asked whether he would remain an independent in this election, Mayor Nikushor Dan said, “There is no debate in this election.”

He also rejected the idea of ​​creating another party in the future. “In the hypothesis that I win, I will be a mayor who will have to work with several right-wing parties that support him in the CGMB, and it is very difficult to give preference to one party or another,” said Nikushor Dan.
