
How efficient are electric cars? Operating costs were reduced from 3,200 lei/car to 1,200 lei/unit.
“In two years, I changed only the fluid for the windshield. They didn’t have any malfunctions,” explained Viorel Blajuc, administrator of the IaČ™iting company, which in 2021 made a radical decision: replacing cars with heat engines with electric ones.
Viorel Blyutz bought 32 Renault Zoes, several Kangoos and Spring, all electric. After paying the leasing fees, the electric park will save the company 3 million lei in three years.
Now, with all the energy consumed and the cost of leasing (350 euros/month), machine costs are lower than before when heat engines were used.
One of the most inspired investments
In 2021, the company from Jasiting made a radical decision: it replaced cars with heat engines with electric ones.
“People around me said that electric cars have no future, that this is the biggest mistake. I even left a few cars with a classic engine, fearing that the electric ones would not cope,” explained Viorel Blajuc, the majority shareholder of IaČ™iting.
Two years after the purchase, he says it’s one of the most inspiring investments he’s ever made, with unexpectedly high returns.
